Film Production
Everyday task Shot film.
Breakfast
My idea is to shoot myself making breakfast and then setting off to go to UNI in the morning, this will portray the 2nd half of my morning routine.
The first scene will be me leaving my room and heading down the hall to the kitchen. I will show this using multiple different camera angles and techniques.
After that, it will cut to me entering the kitchen and going to raid the fridge for some food. It will cut to a close-up shot of an egg being grabbed from the fridge during this shot.
Thirdly I will turn on the cooker and start to heat a pan and some oil to fry an egg, once I place the egg onto the pan I will go to the freezer and get 2 slices of bread. The bread will be placed in the toaster and ill grab some salt and pepper to season the egg shortly before placing it onto my toast that I will butter while the egg is cooking.
I will take a plate from the cupboard and place my food on it, ill get myself a glass of orange juice to wash it all down then I will head back to my room and gather my things before heading into town to get my bus into university.

Documentary research
A definition of documentary is not easy and can be the start of many arguments.
The Scottish documentarian John Grierson who first coined the term, 'documentary, in his review of Robert Flaherty's film Moana (1926), also described 'Documentary' as "The creative interpretation of actuality". The Soviet film-maker Dziga Vertov, set out to film "life as it is" (that is, life filmed surreptitiously) and "life caught unawares" (life provoked or surprised by the camera).
Grierson: "The creative interpretation of actuality"
Vertov: "life as it is", "life caught unawares"
Bill Nichol's identified these 6 modes of Documentary Representation.
Poetic
The poetic mode of documentary moves away from the "objective" reality of a given situation or people to grasp at an inner "truth" that can only be grasped by poetical manipulation Codes emphasizes visual associations, tonal or rhythmic qualities, descriptive passages, and formal organization favours mood, tone and texture.

Types of doc are; Poetic, Expository, Participatory, Observational, Reflexive, and Performative.

some documentaries I watched to gain a better understanding of them were,
Seaspiracy, have a good trip, fantastic fungi, 14 peaks to name a few I also enjoy a lot of Louis Theroux's work, and the investigative style that he adds to his docs.
